2 month check up

Leila had her 2-month check up today. 10 lbs 10 oz, and 23.75 inches. She had to get 4 shots, which she didn't like at all. Her face turned several shades of red and purple as she protested to everyone in earshot. Overall everything went great and she is a perfect, healthy baby!

Trip to the Chesapeake Bay

Our friends (from left, Viraj, Etienne, Melissa, and Tim) and us went to the beach for the weekend to welcome in the spring weather. Or, in the case of Sunday, a really big thunderstorm.
Leila enjoyed herself, almost the entire time. This wasn't part of that entire time though.

Meeting Great Grandma Gaborsky!

We got back to DC last Monday, and we spent the week catching up, meeting up with visiting friends, and doing laundry, only to leave again for another weekend away. Therefore, my apologies to anyone checking for updates, I have most definitely fallen down on the job.

Here are two pictures of Leila meeting Great Grandma Gaborsky! She started out a little finicky (Leila, not Great Grandma), but she came around pretty soon. A great little visit.

Leila took her first airplane ride to Wisconsin this week. She did great on the plane and was better behaved than the toddlers behind us screaming "I don't want to sit down!!!" She met her Great-Grandma Charlotte, saw her first snowfall, played Trivia with the Roly Poly Fishheads, went to Belts, met all of her honorary Aunts and Uncles (a.k.a. Mom & Dad's friends from high school and college), and played with her cousin Lily. What an adventure! She is full of smiles and starting to make non-screeching cooing noises, which is a nice change of pace. Yea!!!
